Analysis of Impact of Tropical Cyclone Blance on Rainfall at Kupang Region Based on Atmospheric Condition and Satellite Imagery

Tropical Depression in the Arafura Sea on March 3, 2017, developed into Tropical Cyclone Blance by March 5, impacting Indonesia with increased rainfall until March 7, especially in Kupang. Weather analysis revealed strong vorticity, vertical motion, and cyclonic wind patterns, leading to Cumulonimbus cloud formation and significant rainfall. Satellite imagery confirmed convective cloud presence over Kupang as the cyclone moved toward western Australia.
