The “List of Priority Locations and Climate Resilience Actions” is a strategic planning document published by the Ministry of National Development Planning (Bappenas) of Indonesia. It serves as a national guideline for identifying priority locations and interventions aimed at enhancing climate resilience across four vulnerable sectors: marine and coastal, water, agriculture, and health.
The document classifies areas into Super Priority, Top Priority, and Priority categories based on climate hazard projections, vulnerability indices (SIDIK), the Indonesia Disaster Risk Index (IRBI), and field validation data. For each sector, it outlines targeted climate resilience actions, including the development of adaptive infrastructure, technology application, institutional and community capacity building, early warning systems, and innovative financing mechanisms.
