The “Baseline Disaster Risk Assessment in Coastal Areas of Indonesia” report, conducted by Yayasan Konservasi Alam Nusantara (YKAN), is part of a feasibility study for a coral reef insurance scheme. This assessment aims to identify past disaster events and their impacts, analyze the frequency, scope, and severity of these disasters, and create a stakeholder map for disaster preparedness in seven coastal locations: Pandeglang, Makassar, Klungkung, Wakatobi, Berau, Raja Ampat, and Rote.
