The Problem of Food Security in the Indonesia Border Area of Nusa Tenggara Timur Province with Timor Leste Country
11 Downloads
Food vulnerability is high in Nusa Tenggara Timur (NTT), especially in border areas with Timor Leste. This study analyzes food security and ways to strengthen it. Low farming performance, unfavorable rainfall, and limited access to innovation contribute to food insecurity. Border communities need stronger food policies, as markets are often far away. Locals rely on traditional food sources during shortages. Addressing food security in NTT’s border areas should be a top priority for national development.
