This article explores the intersection of gender, culture, and child-centred approaches in disaster risk reduction (DRR) and climate change adaptation (CCA) in Indonesia. Based on research conducted in Rembang and Sikka, the study analyzes how gendered social roles and cultural contexts influence the inclusion of children in DRR-CCA efforts. It highlights the importance of integrating local knowledge, fostering intergenerational dialogue, and addressing gender-based power dynamics to support more equitable and resilient community responses to climate risks.
