The Narratives of Local Women’s Resilience in Disaster and Climate Change: The Voices of Indonesian Women in the Watershed Areas

Deskripsi:
This article explores the resilience of local women in the face of disasters and climate change through a post-colonial feminist lens. Focusing on three watershed areas in Bengkulu, Indonesia, it reveals how women’s local knowledge, gender roles, and positions in power structures influence their capacity to adapt and respond to environmental crises. The narratives emphasize the interconnectedness between ecological justice, community resilience, and the inclusion of women’s voices in environmental governance.
